The 1600W upgrades the battery from 36V 9Ah to 48V 14Ah (nearly double the capacity), replaces the fixed three-speed key selector with a variable-knob throttle from 5-25 mph, and increases the front tyre from 10-inch to 14-inch. The 14-inch front tyre provides substantially better trail capability — it rolls over obstacles the smaller tyre would stop at. The variable throttle lets experienced riders dial in exactly the power they want rather than choosing between three preset speeds.

The 48V 14Ah battery provides 100-120 minutes of continuous ride time at moderate use. This is a time-based rating because actual distance depends heavily on terrain, speed, and rider weight. On a flat practice area at moderate speed, 120 minutes is achievable. On hilly trails at full speed, expect closer to 60-80 minutes.

The manufacturer recommends the 1600W for ages 14 and above. The 685mm (27 inch) seat height fits riders from approximately 5ft to 6ft. Maximum rider weight is 150 lbs (68 kg). The variable-knob speed control means a parent can set it conservatively for a new teenage rider and increase the ceiling over time.
