The M1 Max adds an adjustable air shock rear suspension system and upgrades the brakes from 180mm mechanical disc to 180mm dual hydraulic disc. How does adjustable air shock rear suspension work?
The M1 Max rear shock has a Schrader valve you inflate or deflate to adjust damping stiffness. Higher pressure gives firmer, more responsive handling on hard-packed trails. Lower pressure softens the ride on rough or muddy terrain. You adjust it with a standard shock pump — the same pump used for mountain bike forks.
