An inverted (upside-down) fork has the larger diameter outer tubes at the top attached to the frame, and the smaller inner tubes sliding up into them from the wheel. This configuration is stiffer laterally — it resists the twisting forces under hard braking better than a conventional fork. The aluminium barrel axle design on the GT54 further improves rigidity. The practical result is more precise steering under braking and better stability on rough terrain.

The GT54 uses two 48V battery packs (27Ah combined) that can be removed separately. You can charge both simultaneously or one at a time. Having two separate batteries also means if one pack has an issue, the other still works. The 62-mile combined range comes from running both packs simultaneously through the Fardriver controller.

Yes. The GT54 uses a key ignition system — the key must be physically inserted and turned to allow the bike to start. Without the key, the motor cannot engage regardless of throttle input. The Fardriver Bluetooth controller also provides app-based monitoring, so you can track the bike's status remotely.
